Spilman recently had a trial win for a client in an auto accident matter, in which the plaintiff claimed permanent injury and scarring associated with an alleged injury to his thumb. The plaintiff's demand at trial was in excess of $50,000. Following four days of testimony on how the accident occurred, including expert testimony regarding the plaintiff's injury, the jury took 21 minutes to return a defense verdict for our client.
