Spilman recently aided a client in establishing a new manufacturing facility in the northern panhandle of West Virginia. The State of West Virginia designated more than $290MUSD for our client’s project to construct a large-scale manufacturing facility for its low-cost, multi-day batteries, capable of storing electricity for 100 hours at system costs competitive with legacy power plants. The facility is expected to create 750 jobs with a total capital commitment of over $750MUSD.
