Spilman Partner Neiser Named to 2024 PA Super Lawyers List
Pittsburgh — Spilman Thomas & Battle (Spilman) announced that Member Julian E. Neiser was named to the 2024 Pennsylvania Super Lawyers list.
The objective of the Super Lawyers selection process is to create a credible, comprehensive, and diverse listing of outstanding attorneys from more than 70 practice areas. The annual selections are made using a patented multiphase process that includes a statewide survey of lawyers, an independent research evaluation of candidates, and peer reviews by practice area. No more than 5 percent of a state's lawyers are named to the Super Lawyers list. More information can be found at www.superlawyers.com.
Neiser has been involved in hundreds of construction and commercial litigation cases and has represented a diverse range of clients. He has won numerous verdicts/awards before arbitration panels and courts over the past 20 years. Recent examples of his litigation experience include winning a jury trial in federal court involving a common law trademark and a multi-million-dollar award from the American Arbitration Association (AAA) involving pipeline construction.
Neiser currently serves as Vice Chair of Spilman’s Litigation Department, Co-Chair of the Construction Practice Group, and Chair of the Alternative Dispute Resolution Group. He also is an adjunct professor in the trial advocacy department at the Thomas R. Kline School of Law of Duquesne University.
Neiser also is a private mediator, is certified as a neutral and mediator for the United States District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania, and is on the AAA’s Roster of Arbitrators & Mediators.
