Mr. Denton’s primary area of practice is litigation, with an emphasis on complex business disputes, complex construction cases, consumer finance and banking litigation, appeals, and fiduciary disputes.

  • Obtained dismissal of all claims asserted against North Carolina accountant and bookkeeping business in the North Carolina Business Court
  • Defended a Canadian commercial printer in Guilford County Superior Court against claims totaling over $1 million
  • Represented an LLC member against other members in a complex action involving derivative claims, contract claims, fiduciary duty claims, and dissolution claims
  • Represented heir of an estate in North Carolina Court of Appeals in appeal of dismissal of all claims in multimillion-dollar dispute against executor of estate
  • Obtained favorable result for subcontractor against general contractor in multimillion dollar arbitration proceeding arising from $100 million road and bridge rehabilitation project
