Charleston, W.Va. —Spilman Thomas & Battle, PLLC (Spilman) announced a new attorney has joined the law firm’s Charleston office, strengthening its corporate department.

Paul G. Papadopoulos joins Spilman’s corporate law department, where he will focus on assisting clients in general corporate and commercial law matters and in federal, state and local tax matters. With 25 years of experience in these areas of law, he is the current Chair of the West Virginia State Bar’s Committee on State and Federal Taxation.

Papadopoulos earned his undergraduate degree from Davidson College and his law degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
