Winston-Salem, N.C. — Spilman Thomas & Battle (Spilman) announced that North Carolina Construction News magazine rated the firm as having one of the top ten construction law practices in North Carolina.

The magazine took into account several qualities in determining which law firms should be included on the list, such as the number of lawyers focused on construction law, published work and articles relating to the industry, leadership roles in the Construction Law Section of the North Carolina Bar Association, and leadership roles in other specialized construction associations.

Bryan G. Scott, who serves as co-chair of Spilman's construction law practice group, was identified by the magazine as a leader in the field.
