- Negotiating and drafting commercial leases, purchase and sale agreements, contracts, and other agreements related to use of commercial real estate
- Providing general corporate legal oversight to a commercial real estate investment firm with properties spanning 14 states
- Acquiring land and mineral interests and managing general land operations on behalf of multiple large coal, oil, and gas companies, including a Fortune 500 company and the top producing underground coal companies in the United States
- Conducting due diligence on behalf of energy and investment clients seeking to buy and sell interests
- Defending clients in claims including personal injury, premises liability, and professional liability
- Representing a wide variety of clients including doctors, a major university hospital system, and the insureds of most major insurance companies
