Mr. Zickefoose’s primary areas of practice are health care law and defense litigation, both general and complex.
Experience
- Representing several of West Virginia’s largest hospital systems and other medical professional liability insurance carriers’ insureds in defense of medical malpractice lawsuits
- Defending clients in claims including complex litigation and premises liability in both West Virginia and Kentucky
- Advocating for a spectrum of health care providers before their respective professional licensure boards
- Advocating on behalf of West Virginia’s hospital systems’ interests in appellate-level issues through amicus curiae briefs before the Supreme Court of Appeals of West Virginia
