In 2023, Spilman assisted an international chemical manufacturer in the successful sale of its glycolic acid manufacturing business and related assets, located in a West Virginia chemical manufacturing plant. The sale included the buildings, personal property, permits/licenses, associated contracts and inventory, as well as a lease of real estate. Spilman drafted and negotiated the Asset Purchase Agreement and other transaction documents and managed the closing process.
