Spilman successfully argued a Motion to Dismiss for our client, a large insurer. Our client and several other defendants were sued as a result of a motor vehicle accident. The other defendants, one of which was insured by our client, were accused of "permitting DUI," and another defendant was implicated in a dram shop action. However, the Complaint alleged no misconduct on behalf of our client. In light of the "failure to state a cause of action," the Judge granted the Motion to Dismiss.
