Winston-Salem, N.C. — Spilman Thomas & Battle (Spilman) announced that Anthony L. Huber has joined the law firm as Counsel.

“Tony’s extensive business, tax, and M&A advisory experience, from both the legal and accounting perspectives, will prove invaluable for our clients,” said Jeff Patton, Member in Charge of Spilman’s Winston-Salem Office. “We are very pleased to have him on board.”

Huber’s primary areas of practice are corporate and tax law. He counsels corporations, LLCs, partnerships, and other entities on various aspects of transactions, compliance, and corporate governance. He is well versed in mergers, acquisitions, debt and equity issuances, liquidations, reorganizations, dispositions and distressed/restructuring matters, as well as specific strategies and planning.

Huber is a certified public accountant as well as a lawyer. His prior experience includes a Big Four accounting firm and leadership positions in both accounting and law firm tax practices. He earned his J.D. and M.B.A. at the University of Georgia and his B.B.A. at Kennesaw State University.
