Mr. Pace’s primary areas of practice are estate planning, probate, commercial transactions, corporate law, and tax.
Experience
- Providing advice and assistance to clients on a wide array of estate planning strategies, including various forms of complex transfer tax planning strategies, business succession, special needs trusts, and charitable trusts
- Advising and counseling fiduciaries on trust, probate, and estate matters
- Providing advice and assistance to clients on estate and trust administration related issues
- Providing advice and assistance in connection with business and nonprofit entity formation
- Advising clients with respect to corporate governance issues
- Drafting, reviewing, analyzing, and negotiating contracts, leases, asset purchase agreements, stock purchase agreements, commercial lending agreements, and other forms of transaction documents for commercial-based transactions
- Drafting, reviewing, and analyzing contracts between coowners of closely-held organizations
- Advising clients in connection with all forms of commercial transactions including, but not limited to, mergers and acquisitions
- Assisting in various aspects of estate and trust-related litigation, commercial litigation, and other general forms of civil litigation
